Pinto, horse – recurring colic

Pinto is a 7 year-old thoroughbred racehorse and suffered from recurring colic.
In order to maintain a supposedly “high-performance capability”, he was given too much energy-enriched fodder and much too little raw fodder, i.e. hay.

Horses constantly produce gastric acid and are therefore permanent eaters.
After rebuilding his intestinal flora and the permanent feeding of sufficient hay, as well as more activities with him, he has now been free of colic for 1 year.
