Auto-nosodes are an important form of therapy in holistic treatment. Nosode therapy is a further development of the homoeopathic principle of “healing like with like”.

Nosodes are medicines that are produced in accordance with the Homoeopathic Medication Directory (Homöopathisches Arzneibuch, HAB). They are derived from the disease/metabolic products of humans, animals, microorganisms or viruses as globules or drops, and produced in the dosage appropriate to the animal.

With auto-nosodes, the basic material comes from the treated animal itself. This can be tissue, punctate, nasal discharge, sputum, saliva, faeces, urine or skin particles. When choosing the correct basic material it is important to determine which of these materials contains the decisive information on healing.
By these means, it is possible to engage as individually as possible with the animal and its illness. Auto-nosodes are especially well suited for anaplasmosis, Lyme disease, giardiasis, tumours and recurring infections.
