Theo, Irish Setter – Cold tail-Syndrome
Theo is a 3 year old Irish Setter.
He was in great pain, didn´t want to to be touched or sit down. His tail was extended away from the body.
There are currently no proven causes, it is believed that it is a muscle damage caused by high body stress and / or swimming in cold water.
Theo was immediately treated with painkillers and anti-inflammatory medicine by a vet.
Then we supported him with warmth, homeopathic remedies and after some time with physiotherapy, so after a few days he was back in order and to this day doesn´t have any problems with the tail.
